· Founding Partner
· Software and Information Technology Law expert
· Several years experience as Head of Legal Services for FTSE 100
IT Company
· 2:1 Bachelor of Laws (Hons) Degree from the University of Exeter
Carole’s areas of expertise cover all aspects of the provision
of commercial software and IT services. She works extensively with supply-side
SME’s who license software products, provide IT solutions and consultancy
services and undertake large-scale development projects. Carole’s
wealth of experience with strategic commercial issues equips her to provide
focused, relevant legal advice that aids her clients to achieve their
business goals.
Carole trained and qualified at city law firm Linklaters before broadening
her horizons by moving in-house to focus on the IT industry. She provides
legal services on the premise that a robust contractual framework can
maximise revenue and minimise risks and should be a business asset rather
than a bar to achieving sales targets. Her experience as an in-house
lawyer has equipped her with a keen understanding of the relationship
between sales and delivery and the consequences to revenue if that relationship
is not optimised.
Carole decided in early 2002 to combine her legal expertise with her
unparalleled commercial experience to found a new type of law firm. She
believes that by bringing together an in-depth understanding of the commercial
imperatives behind a business and the best legal expertise available,
she and her colleagues can provide informed, value-added and unrivalled
commercial legal services.
