Rachel’s area of expertise covers all aspects of acquiring, protecting, litigating and exploiting intellectual property rights.

Rachel trained and qualified at city law firm, Linklaters, gaining non-contentious intellectual property experience, in particular, in relation to managing global brand and internet strategies, company sales and purchases and corporate re-structurings.

She joined Bird & Bird in 2000 to focus on contentious intellectual property, in particular in the fields of litigating pharmaceutical patents, trade marks, domain names, copyright, design rights and database rights.

Rachel was made a partner at the Waterfront Partnership in January 2004, to enable the firm to continue to grow and consolidate its position as a niche Information Technology and Intellectual Property practice.
